I heard a word picture that stuck with me today.
It’s a parallel, a word picture, for my human mind to help me understand the character of my Almighty God.
The moon is always round.
The way I heard it was a bedtime story that a dad told his son.
The moon is always round.
Whether they saw a half moon, crescent moon, or a whole moon, they would proclaim the same thing.
The moon is always round.
What a beautiful and sweet parallel picture of the goodness of our God.
God is always the same.
The moon is always round.
God is always good.
The moon is always round.
God is always sovereign.
The moon is always round.
God is always God.
And the moon is always round.
One day that Father walked through a season of great loss and his grown son came to him with his favorite childhood lesson.
The moon is always round.
The father knew what his son meant.
Even though life is hard and our perspective can become obstructed, God is always perfectly good.
Just as clearly as the moon is always round.
